Explanation: you could find yourselves paying for a taxi to a strange club lost in the ass of the city and without even entering it, ’cause you seems to be in the movie “Hostel” instead of a nice night in a european capital. And finish the night walking back to the city center under the incessant irish rain.
…but in the end i had a fun time 
Finally an espresso worthy of that name! Good, creamy, not watered down as usual. And i found it in Scotland! In Inverness, at the corner between Queensgate and Church street there’s a steak house where i ate a very good hamburger and so so chips (they know how to make good hamburgers here in UK, but they still have to improve on the chips) but i would never expected to find a good espresso. Alleluia!
A first list of things i’d like to take back to Italy (or to buy once i’ll get back):
1 – machine to cook rice chinese style and chinese set to eat
2 – a sauna
3 – wood covering for the house (or at least part of it)
4 – electrical boiling machine
5 – santa claus
6 – a bit of snow
The last few days are been full. And beautiful.
In Helsinki i’ve met a canadian girl, guests of the same host. Interesting character, we’ve been traveling together for a couple of days, and probabily, well surely , we’ll meet again. It’s one of those meeting that has to happen, it doesn’t matter where/when/how 
From alternative medicie in Helsinki to some sort of protestant church via Hitchhiking. A very nice old man gave me a ride to Turku. I must admit that i’ve not been sincere with him, i had an hard time not to laugh. Mostly at the phrase “we wer born sinners, and we are all sinners” or the phrase “the pope will go to hell, because he is the pope” … what????
Anyway, i arrived safe and sinner to hell…ehm Turku, also called the ass of Finland, city joked about by the whole Finland, where a couple of days of board games where waiting for me. Funny days
From Turku to Rauma, a small city near the west coast, really nice, but you can visiti it in a couple of hours. From Rauma to Tampere, where i am now. A uiversity city, it seems nice, i still have to visit it.
But the most beautiful thing here in Finald is the nature.If you are blessed with sunny and clear days you’ll be stunned by a fantastic sunset. Black borders, with only a barely visible green shadow, made by plans and soft hills and trees, lots of trees, contrasted by the vivid orange of the sky, that goes to violet, light blu, blu, black. Marvellous.
If you’re in Helsinki, and a question ( as “where am i?” or “what should i see now?” or even “what are your plans for this evening?” ) pops in your mind, you just have to follow these steps:
1 – stop where you are
2 – open your map or something similar
3 – look pondering at it
4 – count to 10
Somebody will surely stop and he/she/it will speak fluently english: an old lady, a cyclist, a viking.
of things happened. We left at Kaunas. Now i’m in Liepaja, in Latvia. A country changed, i met new people, a couple of angels, i’m planning again this trip (i had enough of last minute changes…for now), the blog is little by little becoming multilingual.
Lithuania and Latvia ar two great countries. It is true that in cities and in villages you can see lots of old buildings, abandoned or ruined houses, and what could seems like an abandoned place. But it’s not true. Nature here is fabulous, people are warm and hospitable, the countries are moving and the air you breathe is really good!

Why is it that here in Lithuania when i ask for “Laundry Service” they answer me no, and if i ask for a paying laundry in the nearby they look strangely at me and then say “no”?
Due parole sulla Polonia. Mi piace. In realta’ ci sono molte cose che mi son piaciute, altre meno. Mi sa che alcune delle particolarita’ che non mi son piaciute sono anche alcune di quelle che la rendono simile all’Italia. Disorganizzazione, sporcizia, in pochi parlano inglese. Pero’ le persone sono molto accoglienti, i paesaggi ammirevoli, come la maggior parte delle citta’, ed e’ abbastanza economica
Cracovia e la zona intorno a Danzica (paesi inclusi) sono le parti che mi son rimaste piu’ impresse. Cracovia perche’ e’ una citta’ con molta storia alle spalle, inoltre e’ anche molto viva, grazie ai tanti studenti. Danzica, Sopot, Hel invece sono cittadine piu’ piccole, molto belle da visitare, e con dei bellissimi paesaggi, raccomandate durante il periodo estivo, anche se mi sa che per noi italiani l’acqua del mar baltico e’ fredda comunque 
La Polonia ha davvero molto in comune con noi italiani. Sono per la maggior parte cattolici, qui anche piu’ di noi. Dicono salute sia per fare i brindisi sia quando qualcuno starnutisce (na zdorowie). Decidono di costruire un palazzo o un intero quartiere nel mezzo del nulla, poi finiscono i soldi e del quartiere edonistico rimane solo un accrocchio da completare senza scuole o negozi o fermate dell’autobus nelle vicinanze. Si, ci assomigliamo molto
E’ passato un mese da quando ho iniziato questo viaggio. Stamattina in treno ho fatto la somma delle spese di questo mese ed il totale e’ stato ben 1100 euri. Sicuramente potrei spendere di meno, ma in media mi sa’ che rimarro’ sui 900-1000 euro al mese.
Le voci di spesa maggiori sono i gli spostamenti ed il cibo. I treni ed i trasporti pubblici in Germania e Svizzera son davvero cari. Inoltre non potendo mangiare sempre a casa dei miei ospiti mi son ritrovato spesso a mangiare fuori con una spesa minima di 10 euro fino ai 30 per una giornata di pappe. Le spese evitabili sono i caffe’ e le birre, ma come non provare la birra in germania? sarebbe un vero peccato, perche’ e’ buona
Due spese che mi son concesso, ma che si son rivelate davvero utili son state: un coltellino svizzero (9 euro) ed una borraccia in alluminio (18 euro) la quale mi ha permesso di risparmiare molto in bottigliette d’acqua, oltre ad essere molto piu’ ecologica!
Altre cosa che mi fa spendere molto e’ la colazione…sto continuamente comprando pane, marmellate, biscotti e yogurt. La mattina mi sveglio sempre con una gran fame e mangio davvero tanto. Eppure la sera non vado a letto con la fame! Non mi son pesato, ma mi sa che sto ingrassando
Altra spesa di questo mese son stati 100 euri di ricarica telefonica, ma spero che almeno questi durino parecchio.
In ogni caso mi sa che non riusciro’ a risparmiare molto di piu’.
